Washington, D.C. — Junior Achievement of Greater Washington hosted its annual Washington Business Hall of Fame Luncheon, celebrating the region’s most visionary business leaders and their enduring impact on the community. Held at one of three JA Finance Parks in the region, the intimate luncheon brought together former Laureates and local business leaders from across the Greater Washington business landscape.
This year’s event served as a prelude to the Washington Business Hall of Fame on November 18, 2025, at The Anthem, where the Laureates will be honored in a room of nearly 800 guests. The luncheon spotlighted the 2025 Laureates and provided an opportunity for them to meet former Laureates. This year’s Laureates are:
- Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick – Esteemed educator and healthcare leader
- David Kay – Financial strategist and philanthropic advocate
- Susan Lacz – Hospitality trailblazer and community champion
- Todd Stottlemyer – Technology executive and civic leader
Each honoree was recognized for their lifetime achievements in business excellence, mentorship, and civic responsibility, values that align with Junior Achievement’s mission to prepare young people to be future-ready through hands-on experiences in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
“This luncheon is more than a celebration—it’s a call to action,” said Dr. Monica Goldson, President of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington. “By honoring these leaders, we inspire the next generation to dream big and lead boldly.”
Proceeds from the event support JA’s educational experiences, which reach thousands of students annually across the region.
